August 21, 2015 (11 am Pacific Daylight Time) Third I WISE webinar –  Environmental Sustainability 

This webinar will be hosted by the Sustainable Environments strand leaders. It will feature grass roots examples of Indigenous projects of restoration of traditional lands and waters and research on the toxicity of native lands and waters, effects on people, plants, animals and fish. Strand leaders include Dr. Melissa Gonzales (University of New Mexico), Dr. David Begay (University of New Mexico and Vice President of the Indigenous Education Institute), and Noelani Kalipi, Attorney, Kohala Institute, Hawai’i.
